Amal Zouaq is a professor at Polytechnique Montréal. She holds a dual FRQS Chair in AI and digital health and is an associate academic member of MILA. She is the co-leader of the IVADO NLP regroupement.
Her research interests include artificial intelligence, natural language processing, the Semantic Web, and data mining. She is the director of the LAMA-WeST research laboratory, which specializes in all aspects of natural language processing and artificial intelligence.
She serves on the program committees of numerous conferences and journals on knowledge and data engineering, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and the Semantic Web.
